My name is Laura Yapura Hendic. I created GODDANCE not to teach women how to move, but to help them remember that they already know how.

My Story

For years, I performed. On stages, in life. But I knew something was missing... I just didn't have the words for it yet.

It was during my yoga teacher training that everything clicked. I came back to my breath, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was actually inside my own body. Not watching it from somewhere else.

What if movement could be the way back?

That was my moment. And I knew immediately I wanted to share it with women.

Because I know what it is to be a woman who has lost that connection. Who performs, who rushes, who gives, shows up ... and feels nothing inside it.

GODDANCE is what I built from that knowing.

Not a technique. A return.

Why Laura?

Because I don’t just guide from training, I guide from lived experience. I’ve been where you are: overthinking, controlling, craving softness but unsure how to drop into it. That’s why I hold this space the way I do: grounded, safe, and real.

I invite you into presence, not performance. I offer invitations, not demands. I listen with my body so you can learn to listen to yours.

This is not about performing. This is about becoming. And I’m here to walk beside you.
